Thank you for writing this Sara.
I knew Natasha from the years our grades overlapped at our alma mater Stuyvesant High School, 2004-2007, from the start of her freshman year until the spring of my senior graduation, the same semester I opted to take the ballroom dancing physical education elective, partly inspired by watching her masterful performances with some of our mutual schoolmates.
I can't recall a single time during those years, nor during any occasion of reunion since, where she wasn't smiling. She had this radiant spirit which lit up the room and teemed with grace, elegance, and love.
Barely eight months ago, another member of our graduating class passed away suddenly, another indelible, inexplicable reminder of this fleeting enterprise, life, which we commerce our dreams and hopes upon. Sigh. Let's make the most of this, and live up to the great example of our dearly departed friends.
Heartbroken for this untimely loss. Sincerest condolences and deepest sympathies. May her memory be an eternal blessing.
