Remembering el-Hajj Malik el-Shabazz

60 years ago on this day, el-Hajj Malik el-Shabazz (Malcolm X) was assassinated at the Audobon Ballroom in the Washington Heights neighborhood of Manhattan, New York City.
After studying the Prophetic Seerah, his autobiography was, is, and always will be the magnum opus amongst modern guides on moral compass and mastering courage.
He was the inspiration for my high school yearbook senior quote.
May I continue to trace and walk in his footsteps.

Gotham lives, as does Malik. Rest in power, Malcolm.
