I’m not an unquestioning devotee, nor Iranian, nor do you know me, my beliefs, and politics at all (despite your false assumptions and blatant condescension otherwise). Nowhere did I state nor suggest the global Muslim population (nor that of Judaism, Buddhism, or Hinduism, as 3/4 major world religions by population of adherents) is free of predators amongst its ranks: I even provided you research on the topic in a Muslim-majority country. On another note, “Islam” and “Muslims” are not synonymous, so interchangeable misattribution is incorrect and insulting. Again, the German study has nothing to do with absolving Islam, nor any other particular religion! Your misrepresentation of its findings only strengthen my thesis. Instead, it offers validated evidence of the non-correlation between religiously affiliated institutions and prevalence of child sexual abuse across a sample size of over 1,000 subjects. (Similar findings have been replicated in the US and many other countries.) To be clear, it is ad hominem to characterize and dismiss others and their differing views as “mindless” and sarcastically commit an inverse “no true Scotsman” fallacy by claiming they must be “perfect”, “true” believers. The ongoing settler-colonialist occupation of Palestine by the apartheid Zionist project has nothing do with the author’s essay and its flawed argument, and constitutes egregious red herring and strawman deflection. Your invective echoes familiar recycled Islamophobic talking points and debunked Orientalist rhetoric, hence your predictable mention, reduction, and equation of Islam, Palestine, and terrorism as imagined monolithic synonyms. I’d suggest sticking to the subject, but you’ve lost the plot and doubled down on demonstrably hostile, repetitively presumptuous discourse which elicit no further desire for intelligent engagement. Still, I wish you well and hope you educate yourself better on these topics. Cheers
